Social media is more than a few tweets, hashtags, or ‘likes’. It's a way to engage, promote and build a brand’s reputation with a specific target audience, and should be integral to any marketing strategy.

As an Event Management graduate from Cardiff Metropolitan University, I have gone on to specialise in social media and marketing management, particularly within the sports and events sectors.  I spent a year with the WRU as part of their commercial internship programme, and now handle Swansea RFC’S media and marketing. In addition to this, I also consult on social media content for retail businesses and events.

With my own blogging experience as a self-taught baker, I understand the importance of relevant and engaging content which makes the difference between an average post, and one that spreads a message far and wide.  After all, it's no good being social if no one can see or hear you.  

Of course, the odd cupcake also helps!
