You may have seen some fruit moving around recently while searching on google? You'll be seeing lots more over the next two weeks.
To mark the opening of the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro on Friday, web giant Google is launching a series of interactive doodles championing its own 2016 Doodle Fruit Games. We like this lots!
During the next couple of weeks, fruit such as coconuts, strawberries and watermelons from a fruit stand in Rio will compete in races and other feats of skill, strength and stamina for the title of "freshest fruit," the company said in an introduction to its companion games.
No fruits were harmed in this video ;)
The Fruit Games, which you can participate in by tapping the Google Doodle on your Android or iOS devices, appear to have events planned that mirror the traditional contests held at the Olympic Games, including track and field, swimming, and cycling.
Who will taste the sweet juice of success?
Let the games begin!
