Damian Burgess from Red Squirrel Marketing wins Wales Online Young Digital Person of the Year 2018
Damian Burgess, founder of Red Squirrel Marketing won the award for Wales Online’s Young Digital Person of the Year 2018. The annual, digital award ceremony was held at The Marriott hotel in Cardiff, where companies celebrated the best of digital in Wales.
The awards showcase the inspiring work of individuals and companies across Wales who are at the cutting edge of digital business. They recognise the excellence that exists within a whole industry that is globally, socially and commercially relevant to Wales’ technological revolution.
The judging panel consisted of chief executive of Innovation Point David Warrender, board members of Innovation Point Sally Meechan, PR and content manager of Wealthify, Mike Normansell and businesss editor of the Western Mail Sion Barry.
Damian Burgess commented on his award “I am extremely flattered to win this award and thankful to see all of the hard work pay off. It was a strong category including some of the UK’s largest companies such as, GoCompare. Digital marketing is one of our key services at Red Squirrel and a real passion of mine so this award means a lot”.
