How to Get More LinkedIn Leads

Likes and follows don’t necessarily mean leads. For leads you need to connect with the right audience. Start by identifying the job roles you want to target and those people that can make decisions. e.g CMOs, CEOs or heads of departments.

1. Use LinkedIn search tool to Identify Prospects

Once you’ve connected with people, soft-sell by introducing yourself and your company in a friendly approachable tone (not how amazing you are in 500 words). If possible ask for a physical meeting or phone call. If you don’t hear anything follow up after a week.

Nutty tip: Keep track of leads on a spreadsheet.

2. See who visits your website and connect

Add this code to your website so you can see everyone who visits your website in the Who’s Viewed Your Profile section on LinkedIn

<ifrane src=”Add your LinkedIn profile link here” width=”1” height=”1” frameborder=”0”></iframe>

They’ve shown interest in your company already so why not connect with them?! Try something like this:

HI NAME,

Hope you are doing well.

My name is NAME and I am the XXXXXX at XXXXXXX.

I see that your website is XXXX and you might be looking for help with XXXXXXXX. At YOUR COMPANY NAME HERE we provide XXXXXXXXXXXX

Feature 1

Feature 2

Clients we’ve worked with include XXXXXXXXX

I was wondering if we could arrange a time for a call to discuss this further

Regards,

YOUR NAME

COMPANY

PHONE NO.

3. Share with your connections

Engage with your audience by sharing educational material that can help them. If your product is solving problems in the recycling industry, share content that talks about this topic. This will help you build credibility.

4. Share Advice in LinkedIn Groups

Share your knowledge and insight with the people you want to work with. Join relevant groups by industry, find posts that are getting lots of engagement and take part in them. Offer advice in an educational way not self-promotion. (We recommend once or twice a week)

5. Go Premium to Manage Leads with Sales Navigator

LinkedIn’s Sales Navigator is a premium tool (start with the free trial). You can use Sales Navigator to narrow down your search to fit your ideal prospect.

Remember lead generation needs to be a structured process. Using the tips and tools above can help you build your LinkedIn profile and build leads for your business.
