Facebook to step in to help

We are going through some strange times, and for businesses of all sizes some very difficult times. As well as government help, various grant schemes or loans there is also help coming from Facebook.

Facebook has had a tough few years itself after the data scandal and losing a number of big names advertising on the platforms, but a large band of people did still trust Mark and his mates. The small business sector has pumped millions of pounds into facebook advertising over the last few years and it looks like Facebook is repaying the favour by offering some of those millions back.

The Small Business Grant programme will soon roll out from Facebook, offering small cash grants to businesses as well as offering ad credits too to others to maintain their marketing through this difficult time.

Up to 30,000 eligible small business in more than 30 countries will be able to apply, the exact criteria has yet to be announced but will be very soon so keep an eye on our blog for that info.
